Since 2015 the Corporal Mark Goyet Memorial Foundation
has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships
Corporal Mark Goyet Memorial Foundation Scholarship Recipients are selected from Sinton High School in Sinton, TX (Mark’s Alma Mater):
Selectees were evaluated and selected based on their:
1. Selfless actions helping others
2. Demonstrated team-building skills
3. Evidence of overcoming adversity
4. Strong display of servant leadership
5. Commitment to extra-curricular activities
Additionally, Corporal Mark Goyet Memorial Foundation Service Scholarships are awarded to graduating cadets from each of the Virginia Beach and Norfolk NJROTC units. The Service Scholarship “is awarded to an NJROTC Cadet that best personifies the traits that Mark Goyet embodied; an individual that demonstrates leadership, and best exemplifies hard work, integrity, dedication, and selfless service to their school, unit and community.”
